Boldly answering the highest calling of your heart

Abundant Good Life Coaching & Training - Picture of Dr. Joselito Laudencia

If you’re like most of my clients…

There’s something inside of you, an inner feeling, an itch, a smoldering ember, that’s calling you forth.

You’ve had success in your life, and you can look back proudly on some of your accomplishments.

But you know there’s more for you to share…

…more of your gifts, more of what’s bubbling up in your heart, more of who you are that’s different than how you’ve shown up before.

Some call it your life purpose or your soul calling.

Others call it your inner spark, your evolutionary awakening, or the leading edge of your being.

I call it your Creative Impulse.

Your Creative Impulse is the inner stirring you feel to show up more boldly in the world, more joyously, and more expansively, in a way that’s uniquely you.

Here's the problem, though.

Even though you feel this inner calling to be and share more of who you are with the world, you’re not clear what that exactly looks like, and you might not truly believe what you want is possible.

What’s getting in your way?

One obstacle is that what you think is your dream is really someone else’s dream for you.

Your friends and your colleagues have the best of intentions and want to give you tried and true advice.

They’ll tell you that if you just follow what most people do to achieve success, then you’ll achieve the same success.

Or sometimes they look at you and your past accomplishments, and think that you’re that same person, not taking into account that you have new dreams in your heart.

What ends up happening is, when you follow someone else’s dream, you might achieve outward success and then get congratulated with thousands of likes on Instagram, but you still feel a little empty inside because the success wasn’t truly meaningful for you.

Another obstacle is the Impostor Syndrome.

The Impostor Syndrome says, who do you think you are to live your life just the way you want? You don’t have the right credentials or the right look or the right persona.

The impostor syndrome says you don’t have it within you to achieve what you really want.

If you believe what the impostor syndrome says to you, then you shrink and hide yourself, and you stay in what you think is your comfort zone.

It steers you towards something you’re already familiar with and already know, something that’s less scary, less bold, and ultimately…less of you who you’re being called to be.

Still another obstacle that gets in your way is the belief that you’re being too greedy or selfish to even ask for what you really want.

This obstacle is so insidious because it stops you from even taking your first step. It convinces you to stay put right where you are, just as you’ve always been.

It also argues that you should simply be grateful for what you have and to not ask for anything more.

But here’s the spiritual truth.

These obstacles aren't the truth of who you are.

These obstacles are only obstacles, and who you are is so much more than any obstacle before you.

You’ve had evidence of this in your own life.

Think about it.

I bet you’ve achieved successes that some people can only dream of, and you’ve probably been surprised by your own inner resolve and ingenuity.

Take a moment and recall those moments in your life where you made a commitment to accomplish something bigger than you thought was possible for you.

You probably had some obstacles show up. And yet, you found a way to rise to the challenge, to be bigger than the obstacles in your way.

You see, obstacles live at the edge of your comfort zone.

Obstacles show up precisely because you’re being called to show up in a bigger way.

And that is what the Creative Impulse is, it’s your heart’s calling you forth to show up in a bigger way.

But to show up in a bigger way, there are two guiding principles you have to understand.

The first principle is this.

Obstacles show up precisely because you’re being called to show up in a bigger way.

And that is what the Creative Impulse is, it’s your heart’s calling you forth to show up in a bigger way.

But to show up in a bigger way, there are two guiding principles you have to understand.

The first principle is this.

What got you to where you are now isn’t what’s going to take you to your next level.

What got you to where you are now isn’t what’s going to take you to your next level.

Remember when you were in grade school and first learning about math.

You learned about addition and subtraction, counting with your fingers and your toes.

But at some point, you realized there was more to learn, like multiplication and division.

Your brain had to think in new ways.

(Plus, you didn’t have enough fingers and toes to get to those higher numbers.)

This same principle applies to your own growth.

To get to your next level, you have to expand your understanding of what’s possible.

And you have to draw on new faculties you didn’t realize existed within you.

Here’s the second principle.

You don't have to do it alone.

Most people get stuck because they feel like they have to figure it out all by themselves.

But there’s a catch-22 in there.

You only know what you know, and you tend to do the same things that you know.

If you want to keep on getting the same results, keep on doing what you’re doing.

But if you want different results, you’re going to have to change what you’re doing.

And to change what you’re doing, you have to change who you’re being and how you’re showing up.

That’s where Spiritual Life Coaching comes in.

As Fantastic As This May Sound, Spiritual Life Coaching With Me Isn’t For Everyone.

I come across a lot of people who, after telling them what I do, share that they need someone just like me. But I’m also clear on who resonates well with the work I do. Here are some of the qualities of the people who work best with me, and who experience leaps and bounds in their personal lives and in the work they’re called to do:

  • You’ve experienced success in your life (my clients include recognized authors, keynote speakers, world-class teachers, award-winning artists, and television show hosts), and now you’re ready to take your life to the next level, but from a place of deeper grounding and purpose.
  • You have a belief that you and others can experience more good in the world, even if you’re not yet clear on what that looks like or how that can happen.
  • You’re always looking for ways you can learn and grow, and you approach life as a journey of your own unfolding.
  • You’re coachable, meaning you’re open to experimenting and stepping out of your comfort zone.
  • You see the good that’s possible in everyone and in every situation.
  • You value diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, and strive to make the world a more harmonious and equitable place.
  • You have a spiritual side to you and recognize the importance of connecting to your spirit as integral to your growth.
  • You’re open to trusting and cultivating your intuition, and following where your heart is leading you.
Over the last 15 years, I’ve worked with countless clients whose lives have been transformed by our work together.

Here's what people are saying about our one-on-one work together.

  • “Joselito was an immense help to me in my career transition from corporate manager to full-time musician/solopreneur. In our sessions, he provided useful business and spiritual perspectives on my vision and project plans which resulted in the writing, recording and release of my debut album, ‘Change Coming.’” – Mark Etheredge, Keyboardist and Composer
  • “I remember when we were first talking, how overwhelmed I was. I never looked at my entire life from this bigger work/life perspective. This approach was less psychological and less focused on the past, and more looking at what we’re doing now for today and tomorrow. The focus was about creating a better vision. Now I can definitely see a bigger picture and take a step back, and feel like I’m not stuck in the weeds. I’m embracing my role as the CEO of both my business and my life.” – Jack Worley, Managing Partner
  • “I set my goals high and let Joselito know that IF I could achieve profitability in my company after operating 7 years in the negative, I’d work with him ongoing. Before I knew it, Joselito had me on my way – creating from a newfound state of consciousness about what was possible. Within 7 weeks (substantially sooner than expected), I broke even and by the following session the company was profitable and is now gaining momentum.” – Julieanne O’Connor, Actor, Author, Speaker
  • “I have, absolutely, no reserve in publicly declaring that Dr. Joselito Laudencia is a Master of his craft! He divines the session with his uncanny perspicacity while he soothes you in his envelope of safety. He is keen as his questions escalate your soul into a heightened awareness and experience of the greatness within. He is a rare synthesis of confidence stewed in humility. Let it be known that I am not one to herald mediocrity, so rest assured in my unabashed statement that Dr. Joselito, is one of the Best!” – Dr. S
  • “Every coaching session was like 7 years of therapy. After working with Joselito, I feel more confident. Until our first session, I didn’t realize how fulfilling some parts of my life were. I learned how I could apply lessons from one area of my life to some other areas that needed attention. I believe the Universe conspires when you say yes to your heart. There’s so much freedom in allowing yourself to say what you want and to sit outside the box. I can say that I feel like a new person.” – Tulica

There's a cost to not following your heart.

Imagine if all these testimonials never happened because people never followed the callings of their heart.

Before my clients started working with me, they shared common and deeply painful struggles, like:

  • Stress and sleepless nights
  • Boredom and monotony
  • Feeling like they were running in a hamster wheel because they lacked focus and direction
  • Dread that they would be in this same situation 10 to 20 years from now
  • Arguments with family, friends and loved ones
  • Constant questioning of what they think they should want versus what they really want

The cost isn’t only to individuals, but also to the people they’re feeling called to serve.

What would the world look like if Lin Manuel Miranda didn’t pursue his passion for composing and writing lyrics, all because someone might have told him that you don’t make money in the creative arts?

We wouldn’t have Hamilton or Encanto!

Or what if Oprah didn’t start her own talk show because she felt the impostor syndrome?

Millions of lives wouldn’t have changed for the better because of her wisdom and the talent she had in uplifting the world.

What is it costing you when you go into default mode, doing what you do, day in and day out, while something inside of you is wanting to express itself?

Whether you realize it or not, there’s a cost to not following your dreams.

You have to make a choice whether you are willing to pay for those costs, or whether you are ready to answer the calling in your heart.

There’s always a choice. You can choose to say YES to the life that’s calling you forward, and you can choose TODAY.

If all this resonates with you, and you're ready to take your life and your work to its next level...

I invite you to submit an application for one-on-one spiritual life coaching.

I only take a limited number of coaching clients, and I currently have a couple spots that have recently opened up. (I will update this when my spots are filled, at which point I’ll set up a waiting list.)

I offer a 60-minute life coaching consultation and mini-coaching session so that we can assess whether working together makes sense for both of us, and I charge a nominal fee of $150 for this consultation.
